Co-Founder & CEO
In the global agency business, it’s rare for people to believe that size does not equate to quality. However, Richard Pinder and The House Worldwide break the rules—especially in an era when conversations about new models, effective structures and agency integration are constantly on the minds of clients and procurement executives alike.
Well-known as the former Chief Operating Officer at Publicis Worldwide, Richard Pinder has over twenty five years of international brand advertising and digital experience, half in the UK and half in Asia, Europe and Worldwide. Certainly very much involved with the industry’s profound change, he spent time talking to the top CMOs and CEOs of major marketing companies to fully understand their challenges and concerns before embarking on co-founding The House Worldwide to respond to those needs.
Consequently, The House Worldwide is a new form of global communications network comprised of a seasoned core team in London-- principally fueled by experience gained in large global holding groups. The House then collaborates with top independent agency partners around the world to create bespoke teams of senior, globally-experienced professionals. Among them are such marketing, media, production and consulting companies as: Naked Communications, New York; Red 212, Cincinnati; China, Madrid; Kitchen 8, Singapore; Change, Paris; Prime PR, Stockholm; ToscaHouse, U.K.; Noah, London; Rhino Worldwide, Houston; Equizone Global, U.K.; Chouchkov Brothers Studio, Sofia, Bulgaria.
This new House model enables the core London team to choose and direct talent across the network, as needed, to produce work of outstanding creativity and value. Or as Pinder likes to say, “This is a network of great people who want to work together, not who have to work together.” The result is local knowledge, broad perspective and global scale—all based upon the belief that bigger is not necessarily better.
Richard Pinder and The House Worldwide caught the attention of Crispin Porter + Bogusky, the spectacularly successful agency founded in Miami that’s a member MDC Partners. CP+B acquired The House Worldwide this June. Richard’s new role becomes CEO- UK & International where he’ll focus on building CP+B's global network outside of the US, while also expanding the UK client base. The resources of The House’s network also provides support for CP+B’s creative talent.
The entire House staff of roughly 15 has been retained in the acquisition and has moved into CP+B's offices. In London, CP+B’s client list includes Turkish Airlines, Diesel Watches, Xbox, and Milka, while The House Worldwide works with Levis, Lenovo and Argos.
According to Richard Pinder in a statement at the time of acquisition, "We’re bringing a global knowledge and a global team and we want to build fame for our London clients."
